As a performer, Mr. Flack has participated in a number of activites including:

Marching tenor drums with the Phantom Regiment drum and bugle corps during the 1998 season.

Marching tenors for the University of Kentucky Drumline over a 4 year span
Marched and graduated from Woodford Co. High School in Versailles, KY
Participated in various groups at UK, including

· Marching Band

· Wind Ensemble

· Concert Band

· Percussion Ensemble

· Steel Band

· University Orchestra

Competed as a timpani soloist at PASIC in Orlando in November of 1998 being one of only four selected finalists to participate in this international competition.

As an arranger/instructor, Mr. Flack has written for such groups as: 

• The University of Kentucky Drumline
• Tates Creek High School Drumline (Lexington, KY)
• Woodford County High School Drumline (Versailles, KY)
• Russelville High School (Russelville, KY)
• Erwin High School (Birmingham AL)
• Pearl High School Indoor Drumline (Pearl MS)

Writing consists of Battery Composition and Pit Composition from beginning levels to the most demanding for your line. All parts are written through Finale or Sibelius. Both options are available. If desired, all parts can be individually extracted along with a CD including parts for computer access.

Fees will be based on time allotted to write, difficulty, length, and instrumentation.

Mr. Flack also has extensive experience with private instruction of students ranging in ages, 6 to 50.
